Operatic credits include the title role in Carmen, Hansel in Hansel and Gretel, Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti, the title role in Cendrillon, Nancy in Albert Herring, Meg Page in Falstaff, The Mother in Stravinsky’s Mavra, and Kate Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly. A champion of new music, Caitlin was featured seen in Chicago Opera Vanguard’s highly acclaimed American debut of Greek (Wife/Mother) by Mark-Anthony Turnage, as well as No Exit (Inez) by Andy Vores , for which she was hailed for her “staggering performance” (Lawrence A. Johnson, The Chicago Classical Review). Additionally, Caitlin is a member of the new music ensemble Hotel Elefant (www.hotelelefant.com) in New York City and is one of the founding members of The Opera Cowgirls, an opera “band” that aims to bring opera to the masses... in a very fun way.

A passionate musical educator, Caitlin has been seen in several outreach productions, including The Witch in Hansel and Gretel with Opera Play-House and Granny in Little Red’s Most Unusual Day with Cedar Rapids Opera Theater, where teaching children about opera and making it accessible is an integral part of the performance. Caitlin also maintains a private studio and enjoys teaching... and learning from... her students.
