Opera Play-House is a fabulous company created by Linden Christ that brings accessible opera to children in both the Chicagoland area as well as Peoria.  Last year I got to take on the role of The Witch (and Mother) in Hansel and Gretel.  This opera by Humperdink is a masterpiece, and referred to by many as mini-Wagner...  but with a familiar story and entertaining characters, the children leave really loving opera!  I was joined by a fabulous cast including Linden Christ, Sara Litchfield, Wendy Van Asten, Meghan Guse and Jenny Hayworth.
